I have no proof, it's only what a friend of mine told me who knows more about this kind of thing than I do. The lyrics do kind of fit a lost drow looking for a place though, don't it? Just the kind of soul Eilistraee would seek to comfort and redeem.

<t>
The Keys to Paradise by Robert Vardeman[/quote:1gbuse5h]<br/> <br/> This is a sad day for me. I read your synopsis of this book, and instantly started looking for this interesting sounding title. I could not find it anywhere. B&N didn't even return a search ...

<t>Despite the sadness of this loss, my concern lies more with the well being of your country in the wake of this tragedy. To lose your leader and so many influential figures all at once, I can only say that my prayers will be with you and your people. This will surely not be an easy thing to recove...

<t>Now that I got my favorites out of the way, I'm here again to suggest a relatively new series of books for anyone who happens to be a fan of dragons to any extent.<br/> <br/> The Age of Fire by E.E. Knight is a series of fives books that are literally all about dragons. Humans, dwarves and other ...

<t>I actually have two favorite books, both for very different reasons.<br/> <br/> The first is a book called God's Equal by Alain Absire. This book is my favorite because it was the first real book I ever read, and I read it with gusto. I wouldn't be as into reading as I am now if it hadn't been fo...
There's no doubt of course that it is dangerous. But that too I think is part of it. They're still drow after all who kind of live for danger. :)[/quote:bq6tx2s8]

Yes, we are all a bunch of adrenaline junkies, aren't we? ;)

<t>I think the running around naked is, again, about theology and offering a tribute to the goddess. Followers emulate her and act as her agents in the mortal world, cutting down said evil as she would herself. And if they fall...well, honestly, I don't think they really take that into consideration...

<t>I'm not even very knowledgeable, but I gotta agree that it does feel like the times are pretty random. Just by the very nature of the freedom worship of Eilistraee represents, being somewhat wild and random in their activities seems a staple.<br/> <br/> That being said, even if once a month is th...

<t>Yes, I've definitely become the resident recluse of the forum. To make up for it, I offer this: <br/> <br/> [youtube:3bymx5nr]80kOBeMEm2I[/youtube:3bymx5nr]<br/> <br/> I don't think this song specifically embodies Eilistraee, but I'm told the song is actually about a drow named Nemo. I can certai...

Words to live by:

Give a man to fish and he'll eat for a day.

Teach a man to fish and he'll eat for the rest of his life.

Give a man a fire and he'll be warm for a night.

Set a man on fire and he'll be warm the rest of his life.
