A girl stopped to speak with her near fifty-year-old mother one night to ask her what she was going to do that night since the daughter was on her way out to go clubbing and her mother, who had no real social life, would be all alone.
Mom turns to her daughter, smiles and says with a laugh, "The same thing I do every night, Pinky."
