the 4th picture basically screams Eilistraee and Vhaeraun and hints that they chose to have him too alive, which is something I welcome.[/quote:2hqvts3l]
That is indeed quite interesting. Thank you.

[quote="Shir'le E. Illios":1rp05abm]Sounds like a drow kind of thing to do... over-extending themselves in plans too grand to have any chance of success. But then, you'd need that kind of villain for heroic players to fight and save the day (in this case quite literally).

And as they over-extend themselves, they forget about actual *gasps* tactics! I guess it's a good thing for us as players that a race several thousand years old where you can live of up a millennium never learns from their previous mistakes. Still, it would be nice to see a campaign where the drow [i:1rp05abm]aren't[/i:1rp05abm] trying to envelope the world in darkness for Lloth.

Well, there's Eberron if you like that kind of setting. However, a more traditional fantasy setting where the drow aren't brainwashed into being puppets in Lolth's hands and where a non neglectable part of them decide to grow a spine and make their own choices, instead of being forced in such a crappy life (even happiness is considered ''weak'' there, and this tells all....) would be nice. Drow are such a flat (and kinda stupid, tbh) ''for powah and teh evulz'' race as they are now, considering that their motivations can be all reduced to ''Lolth says/commands it, so it must be true/done!!''. The only things that managed to make them interesting (to me, at least) are Eilistraee and Vhaeraun, otherwise the drow cannot even be considered a charismatic example of villainous elves IMO.
