He who desires, but acts not, breeds pestilence.

The cut worm forgives the plow.

The road of excess leeds to the palace of wisdom.

No bird soars too high, if he soars with his own wings.

A woodchuck would chuck all the wood a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

Why do people park in driveways and drive in parkways?

Why do doctors call what they do '[i:1rce1w4o]practise[/i:1rce1w4o]'?

There are some people in my life who give me the best gift every time their name is spoken - their absence.

[quote="Malek":ytqraou0]OK, time for my random thought...
If someone is homosexual, would he/she turn himself/herself on?[/quote:ytqraou0]

That would fall under the category of erotic narcissism, and you don't need to be gay to be turned on by yourself...just really full of it.

A great speaker on faith once spoke on how many druidic beliefs taught that death ends with our souls returning to and becoming an eternal part of the planet, and to ease the minds of the uncomfortable compared it to taking a glass of water and pouring it into the ocean. Technically it still exists, nothing about it has changed, but from our limited perspectives that glass full of water can never again be distinct from the greater mass it has become a part of.

But does it become easier to turn yourself on when you are attracted to your own gender?

Not really, narcissism is more of a thing dealing with excessive pride and ego

Mmmm, I quite like that. And you can fill a new glass from the ocean and it might have aspects of the first glass, but it'd still be distinct and different.

Anyway, that's getting way too serious for deep thoughts. :p
