Unless Wizards of The Coast have made some drastic changes to the Drow history, Illithyri are not descended from demons. Not in any books I've read, anyway. Perhaps you are thinking of Fey'ri, which are descended from Sun Elves and Demons? That's not to say Demons and Drow have never borne offspring, though. It's possible, as Demons will breed with just about anything, and Drow being Drow, they may very well see it as a chance to make their race even stronger.
I noticed in the other thread, it seems you're having a go at making your own race? Interesting idea, good luck with it.
P.S. If you want, I can dig up the entry on Fey'ri from the Forgotten Realms - Races of Fearun book.
well..a lot of this is things ive come up with on my own..ive read little about the illithyri,so im pretty much going on what Ive made up, for instance I have read that they were short, 5 feet tops, usually smaller, and Ive made mine a lot bigger.[/quote:3uyhh58m]
Fair enough then. They sound sort of like Fey'ri, from what I have read of your descriptions. Will be ineresting to see how they turn out.

Yeah I'm thinking pf doing something with a group of half celstials, so I needed some of their base stats. Everything else will be earned as the character evolves.[/color:1iighz5t]
