Hail and well met, Chosen of Eilistraee.
I came across the your board while I was doing research for a freelance project I was working on. I didn't have time to join back then so I wanted to rectify that as quickly as possible. I'm a freelance writer who does a good bit of work for Wizards of the Coast. You can find a lot of my articles on their site. Most recently, I wrote Backdrop: Suzail[/url:2ip7k6bh] and Backdrop: Daggerdale[/url:2ip7k6bh]. Additionally, I have a book coming out this summer that may be of interest to all of you. I can't say just yet what it is, but it rhymes with Renzoferranzan[/url:2ip7k6bh].
When I'm not doing all that, I'm running my home game, which (alas) does not have any drow in it. I also write and publish a webcomic titled Snow by Night[/url:2ip7k6bh], which a fantasy tale set on the Canadian colonial frontier.
Thank you all so much for letting me join.
Eric

Re: Introduction
Greeting, Eric, and welcome to our corner of the web.
I must admit that I haven't read the articles you linked (as I don't have a DDI subscription), but it sounds like that Renzoferranzan book might be the first D&D book I'd buy again in year. And I'll be sure to read that webcomic; from my brief look the art at least looks very nice.
So again be welcome and may you find a home of sort here, or at least some inspiration.

Hello Shir'le,
I do have some articles on the Wizards site that are free of charge. I did a fictional newspaper for the City of Greyhawk called the Greyhawk Grumbler. We put out three issues over the course of the campaign. You can find them here[/url:1zewr3f4], here[/url:1zewr3f4], and here[/url:1zewr3f4].
I'm glad that you liked the art on Snow by Night. I teamed up with a friend who is an excellent artist and trained at the Savannah College of Art and Design. She's incredibly talented.
And I found quite a bit of inspiration here. It was this site (and sites like that) that caused the design team to insist that the Dark Maiden make a return. So thank you for keeping the flame lit (or the moon in the sky).
