New race: The dragonborn

An enigmatic and strange race, the dragonborn are the inheritors of draconic power. While not as common as half-dragons the dragonborn may surpass the power of their cousins and their souls are more closely knit to the true dragons.
A dragonborn is, as the name implies, born by a female dragon in human form. The father is alsways a human, other races can not produce dragonborn. It is common for the mother to leave the child after it has reached a certain age since she as a dragon have other duties to attend to. When the child has awakened its draconic powers the mother tends to seek the child out and advice it in how to use the powers of its blood most wisely.
[b:rpmvz7jp]Appearance:[/b:rpmvz7jp] Dragonborn only have a few features which distinguish them as something other than normal humans. Their eyes follow the development of their dragon type (so a silver dragon dragonborn would have eyes looking like silver liquid, for example), their color of their hair often matches the color of their dragon as well.
[b:rpmvz7jp]Outlook:[/b:rpmvz7jp] Dragonborn see themselves as ambassadeurs between the humans and the dragons. They know that they are something more than humans but most of them do not take advantage of this to rule over humans but prefer to strengthen the relationships between humans and dragons instead. Some, however, use their power to dominate the humans or claim glory for themselves.
[b:rpmvz7jp]Religion:[/b:rpmvz7jp] Dragonborn tend to worship human or draconic gods. Most good dragonborn worship Bahamut, king of all good dragons, while evils ones tend to worship Tiamat, queen of all evil dragons.
[b:rpmvz7jp]Lands:[/b:rpmvz7jp] Dragonborn have one land: Draconus, the demiplane which is the home of the Dragon Council. It entrance lies on Mt. Drakar in the Spine of the World, impossible to reach for a non-dragonborn. The demiplane is a lush, prosperous land which exists on floating "islands" in the sky. The great palace of Io, the god of all dragons, dominate the plane and this is the headquarters of the Dragon council.

[b:rpmvz7jp]Abilities:[/b:rpmvz7jp] +2 to strength and Charisma, Dragonborn have a stronger personal magnetism and are physically stronger than humans
[b:rpmvz7jp]Elemental resistance:[/b:rpmvz7jp] Dragonborn have resistance 15 to the element of their mother dragon.
[b:rpmvz7jp]Elemental vulnerability:[/b:rpmvz7jp] Like their dragon parent a dragonborn is vulnerable (takes 50% more damage) to damage from their opposite element.
[b:rpmvz7jp]Darkvision 120 ft.[/b:rpmvz7jp]
[b:rpmvz7jp]+2 on saves vs. sleep and paralysis[/b:rpmvz7jp]
[b:rpmvz7jp]Draconic abilities:[/b:rpmvz7jp] Dragonborn have acess to a number of special abilities depending on their level:
1-2: -
2-3: Draconic Rage
4-6: Draconic Flight
7-10: Gaze of the Dragon
11- 13: Draconic Blow
14- 18: Draconic Endurance
19+: Dragon Metamorphosis

[b:rpmvz7jp]Draconic Rage:[/b:rpmvz7jp] Embracing the physical power of their blood a dragonborn looses a bit to himself to the power of the dragon, becmoning physically stronger. This functions exacly as the barbarian's rage ability and is usable one time per day plus one for every third character level. The eyes of the dragonborn takes on a draconic look and a spectral image of a dragon is seen behind the dragonborn, connected to his eyes. The dragon copy every move of the dragonborn (bites when he attacks, blocks when he blocks, etc.).
[b:rpmvz7jp]Draconic Flight:[/b:rpmvz7jp] Usable 3+(positive)charisma modifier times per day. The Dragonborn creates a pair of dragonlike wings. He can fly at twice his land speed and the wings last one minute per level.
[b:rpmvz7jp]Draconic Gaze:[/b:rpmvz7jp] The dragonborn stares into the eyes of his opponent, striking fear in his heart. Usable 1+charisma modifier times per day. The opponent must make a will save (DC 10+1/2 the dragonborn's HD+ charisma modifier) or be afffected as the [i:rpmvz7jp]fear[/i:rpmvz7jp] spell.
[b:rpmvz7jp]Draconic blow:[/b:rpmvz7jp] Three times per day the dragonborn can focus his power in one termedous blow. He gains a bonus to attack equal to his charisma modifier and +1d6/two levels bonus to damage on his next attack.
[b:rpmvz7jp]Draconic Endurance:[/b:rpmvz7jp] For a short while the dragonborn can gain the stamina of a dragon. 2/day he can gain a bonus to Constitution equal to twice his charisma modifier and a damage reduction of 5/-. The dragonborn adds his charisma modifier as a bonus to his damage reduction. This ability lasts for three rounds + charisma modifier.
[b:rpmvz7jp]Dragon Metamorphosis:[/b:rpmvz7jp] The ultimate power of the dragonborn. A dragonborn can focus his powers and transform into a dragon with a HD equal to the dragonborn's level. This ability lasts for one minute per level but afterwards he may not use his draconic abilities and is fatigued for one hour.

Certainly. It dispels some confusion since my main character (Lance) is a dragonborn and now I have somewhat of a reference for his powers. Feel free to use the race if you like.

realy cool shit...first I thougt it was draconians from the dragonlance books...but this was way more cooler!!!
