[i:2cfrrx6p][b:2cfrrx6p]The beast is shocked at the sudden attack. It opens its jaws and in a final effort to defend itself. The beast hisses and attacks, whirling the remaining tentacle, attempting to wrap it around Lothair and drag him beneath the cat onto the floor of the tunnel as it falls. The beast lashes it's claws, at his face, slicing toward him with its teeth all the way down. Blood pours out in a large pool over the ground. The beast lay, convulsing as it's carcass is split open from the front of it's chest down. Bhaern's dagger is stuck between it's shoulder and neck.[/color:2cfrrx6p]

The child hears the beasts last hiss and the terrible thud as it falls.
She removes her thumb from her mouth and walks over, cautiously to where she heard the battle being fought.
She looks frightened but bravely enters the room and walks over to the men who have slain the beast.
"You guys are strong, it usually takes about 5 of our men to slay a displacer. You guys alright?"

Lothair rolls as the beast grapples with him, shoving an arm into its mouth, not caring how bad it gets torn up as long as he can manage to keep the beasts teeth and jaws from his face and throat.. during the fall, he wraps his legs around the beasts body and attempts to roll them in the air, letting the creature take the brunt of the fall, but knowing still that he will suffer from the impact.

Upon hitting the ground, the dorw male just lays there, letting his breath come back and the spots clear from his eyes, not moving for fear that he may injure himself further than is completely neccesary. After a few minutes, his hands start to wander his belt, feeling for any of his potions baottles that aren't damaged. His hand finally falls on one, one of his last three potions on his belt that the bottle isn't damaged on. Sighing he takes it from his belt and drinks it, feeling the icyness of it's healing effects poor over him, healing the more drastic wounds, but not the all of them.

After the effects of the potion have run their course, he sits up and notices that the child has followed them out. Looking over to Bhaern, and hearing the childs words, he rushes over to her and starts back toward the cave, giving Bhaern a small nod of the head.

Once back in the cave he looks down to the child, [i:3jearb34][b:3jearb34]Lania, you shouldn't have come out there. There could have been another diplacer beast with that one and you could have been attacked. Please. next time remain here with the others where there is more protection.[/b:3jearb34][/i:3jearb34] With a gentle ruffle of the girls hair, he heads back to his gaurd duty looking around as if nothing has happened.[/color:3jearb34]

Lania watches the man walk away from her with a puzzled face, she can smell the blood of his wounds, but he is acting as though he has none. This confuses her, but she turns to face the other adult and asks him,
"Can we eat the displacer now?"

Taking up the body of the displacer. Bhaern soon rejoins the others in the cave. Begins to skin it, field dress then start to cut off the mea the catlike creature. Cutting with percise cuts, glances at the others. The fair elf waiting, the Priest of a non existanant Goddess, standing guard over a sleeping Priestess of the the same deity. The foemer, perhaps still loves, lover of his sister, the strand stuate that also appears to have been guarding those that stayed. Having hread some of the words of Lothair to Lania , just chuckles. If Lothair would not listen, why should he expect a child to listen to orders. The displacer could have been taken with sleep poison if blade did not. The aid made it easier but in his view not needed at all and who knows what might have come from the two strangers which currently appear to be taking turns resting. The only comment to be answered is the child's.

"Lania, if you wish some meat I can have it cooked soon for you."

The child licks her lips,
"Yes, please..and I help skin ..ok..Im good at it."
She sits down beside you and with her tiny but sharp claws starts cutting at the beast. She seems to know what she is doing. As she works she sings softly in a strange tongue. It is drow , partially, but some words are not.

She smiles upon hearing the approaching footsteps and voices of Lothair, Lania, and Bhaern. Amara is still standing at the edge of the cave entrance her lips moving, forming the shapes of words that would be spoken.

0o...a lost displacer beast...o0

The surface elf turns inward following after them, her hand tracing along the side of the cave. She can smell the oder of blood from the fresh kill as well as the aroma of cooking meat when it is prepared.

Amara touches a portion of the skin from the beast and senses the death was hastened by sleep poison. She turns her head and moves back toward the sound of water to wash the blood from her hands.[/color:2j4tuni7]
Cerridwen is thin (120 lbs more less), but a little muscular, as she likes to spend some of her free time training with the sword. 5'4'' feet tall; quite short for a drow female. Has long, straight and silky hair of silver colour (natural). Her eyes turquoise colour, but turn red when she gets angry. her face features are beautifull, soft and gentle, full pink lips and opal skin.

She wears what appears to be a tunic made with a fabric that looks as the fabric that you use to make tents and a Mithril Chain shirt that she stole from the men who captured her. The tunic is made actually with the fabric of those men's tent (they must be a little upset for that, but she was naked when she escaped and her clothes were completely broken and useless. Anyways the fabric used to make tents is very thick, so it could give some aditional armour?), she wears a rope as a belt around her waiste, and her neck is not visible because of the way she uses her hair. Her shoes is the only thing she could keep untouched of her clothes.

Long below her butt, she divides it in 2: the upper part of the hair is loose, so it reaches it's full length, but the other half she's using it as a scarf around her neck, loose enough to not choke her, but enough to hide whatever bruise she could have in her neck. Now that Bhaern saw what happened to her in his dream he could know where to find her wounds. She has bruises and marks of teeth. Bwael may know of this wounds also.
Ok, that's all for now because she's sleeping.[/quote:3fmkvx4h]

Amara can hear the cleric stirring. She turns around to seek her out and tend to her care. The surface elf kneels at her side awaiting her to awaken. Perhaps the smell of food cooking might rouse her. Amara takes the clerics hand and gently rubs it to help her wake but feels the strange tent material that covers her like a tunic. Amara's facial expression changes, becoming more hardend with concern. Her sensitive fingertips feel over the Mithril Chain shirt, recognizing the style and make of the armor. The elf begins to panic and move quickly away from the Cleric, her hands searching around her neck for the symbol she had been wearing. She lifts to her feet and stumbles, pelting herself against a nearby wall. [/color:3fmkvx4h]

Bwael well aware of Cerridwen, that his spell should have eased some stands protectively near her noticing Bhaern returning with the displacer beast and starting to cut it up. Howeveer his eyes watch Amara as she appourched Cerridwen and applied a herb, watching carefully just in case it appears to be a poison, though not really expecting such from the blind girl. Watched her hands carefully also noting the hands touch the chain and reaction. Speaks softly to her as she retreats to the wall.

"Yes it is Drow made, we were captives of them for some weeks and just managed to escape. With chain that fits Cerridwen and one sword and dagger. You have nothing to fear from us. We know the evil that Drow can do for we both have felt their hands on us."

Looking at the rest in the cave, wonders what Amara reaction would be if she could see the number of Drow about her, not to mention a demonlike creature. Contines to speak to Amara.

"I am pledged to protect Cerridwen as best I can, I offer you the same pledge if you will accept it. You are safer with us, then being on your own."

Bhaern also watched Amara the touching of the displacer beast, then her interaction with Cerridwen and her reteat from touching Drow armor. Considering she might be justified in fearing Drow, hand talks to Lothair "as long as she can not see, let her think we are surface elf, I think child knows no difference. If she mentions skin color, tell her we dyed it t better hide in the tunnels"

Bhearn's eyes looks and listens as her cooks the meat. Softly in Elven. " There is strength in numbers, to reach the surface. And in time bring the child home. I ask you to place trust in us for that or until we find you a safe place you want to stay. Perhaps we can return you to your home if the vile Drow did not distroy it."

Offers Lania some of the cooked meat, reverting to undercommon.

"Come eat, it is cooked and ready now. There is enough here for everone"

[t:12x24jo1]Lania picks through the meat she is offered, looking for the least cooked. When she finds a piece that is pink enough for her liking, she sucks it contentidly for a while before eating the meat. She does this in a rather matter of fact manner, as if it is common to see a child drink blood.
She hums as she eats, a simple little melody and then looks around at everyone else.

Lothair nods to Bhaerns' word, but still frowns as he watches the tunnels for signs of life, not wanting to lie to anyone, and not wanting to go against any of the eddicts of his faith. When Bhaern calls that the food is ready, he turns from his post and walks over to where the surface elf is, gently laying a hand on her shoulder to let her know that he's there, since he made little to no noise in his approach.

Awating her to raise and accept the offered had he puts out to touch her arm with, he looks back out to the tunnles, thinking about the times they're gonna have seeking revenge for Bhaerns' family.[/color:1mzwzn5r]

The statue watches over the others from her viewpoint by the cave mouth. They seem so "happy", it is an age since she felt thus.

Amara continues to feel over herself again trying to find the symbal. She turns her head toward the sound of Bwael's voice and stops moving around, to listen to his words. She nods, then alerted by the gentle touch of Lothair's hand on her shoulder, Amara can tell by the smell of the displacer beast's blood that Lothair is one of the two who brought in the food. She takes his hand and picks up a few rapidly moving mental images and places her hand to her forehead. [/color:3knlaxcs]
