From a young age, growing up in the unlawful pits of the underdark Hespa knew she wasn't like the others. The constant crime, though it was never called "Crime", was too much for her and she spent her days shying away from others hiding and reading tombs of magic, or the occasional tomb psionics stolen from the illithids. She saw the only way to make the world right was to have the power to make it so yourself. So she studied.
Her fleeting thoughts that maybe she wasn't drow after all, how could she? Her views were so different, if a bit similar just in a different light, were clarified at the age of 35. At which time she turned into a deep, dark silver dragon trimmed in dimmed reds and liquidlike golds. She spent a week like that, not knowing how to change back. At the end of that week she was visited by her Patron Dragon who sensed her change. Atomic dragons don't reproduce normally. When they need a child they send a spark of their genetic material compressed and released into the world for it to catch in an unborn child somewhere. Her Patron taught her of her nature, what she was and why she thought of things the way she did. Atomic Dragons were all Lawful, usually neutrally so. She would be a Lesser Dragon, Until she aged enough to grow into a full dragon. She was still Drow, not totally half, yet not totally half Atomic either yet. The complex nature of Atomic Dragons befuddling racial titles. Content in seeing its creation well, the Atomic Dragon left her after knowing Hespa would be with knowledge. When it left, it gave Hespa a gift, a bag similar to a Bag of Holding but superior. Inside was a semi vast plane containing its own small mountains and rivers.
Hespa continued to live in the underdark, still a kid by drow age standards (let alone Dragon age standards...) She found herself unable to leave on her own. The command of her houses matriarch was demanding. So she kept silent study when she could. Generally life was inconvenient, but bearable, that is until she was 60 and approaching Adulthood by drow standards. At that time she received her first Test of Lolith. She had no loyalty to other drow, Could simply phase out of the test of Mettle, Her Psionic training would leave her with the majority of her power (at the time) from the test of Doubt, She was given the Test of Strength. Returning from a short errand she was sent on by her matriarch. she found herself face to face with a Gray Jester and its thrall of Bleak Ones, one of whom she recognized as the missing heir to her matriarchs position.
After slaying the Gray Jester her test was complete. the Bleak Ones were still bleak, permanently drained of the capability to feel positive emotion, but none the less her House gained some respect for her when she completed the test and retrieved the missing drow.
This however only lead to more problems. She was now Noticeable. When she reached drow adulthood, her body having matured from childlike to full she was frequently requested by the ranking drow over her. Which inevitably lead to the pushing factor in making her seek the Surface. She'd read about it in books, heard about it from others. And so she did. She left to the Surface. The first several [i:2y92bry8]months[/i:2y92bry8] were blinding. She didn't expect it to be so utterly bright.
But she adapted eventually. She found surface life more eventful then the dark lag of the underdark. the food was vibrant, most cities were orderly, "Courtesy" was a word used often here, yet unheard of in the underdark.
She found a school of magic, She studied there for several years. She was amazed at the concepts of teamwork. She'd only daydreamed of people working together.
She was also taken back by the diversity of the deities. There were so many of them! Lolith's touch wouldn't haunt her again. Especially after she became a priestess/cleric of a church she discovered and loved. Vealtobse. who taught to seek power for change, power with which to help shape evolution. Life up top was perhaps to varied. Hespa couldn't totally devote to anything, spreading herself thing over many things including Psionics, Arcana, and Divine power and wandering from city to city exploring, helping here and there. Her Atomic Dragon nature causing her to seek the improvement of civilization.

Hespa is very lawful, Especially when compared to other Drow (Most of them at least, you know, the ones in the underdark who are constantly scheming?)
She shares some general drow ideals, even if subconsciously or if she denies it. She occasionally might eat a goblin from that band of raiders that attacked her in the night, or that Minotaur guarding the lair of Dark Lord Whatshisface. She loves experimenting on new recipes dealing with monsters as ingredients.

So she does eat sentient creatures, But chooses carefully. Never killing creatures that are peaceful, good and orderly. But if something happens or shes attacked, or they're in the way of her goals, (well, for the latter its only if it leads to bloody violence).

Psionics and Magic have their own strong points. They are both needed to make a nice world.
Unlike most my DMs I've had in the past. "No Psionics" they always say.... psh.

Hahahahaha, don't worry that's just Zazzt being himself, though he's right, I've not seen a psionic on the boards once, even in the older char templates that I've read.

As to "No Psionics" well hell, go for it when it comes to bringing them in. LOL

Well then! feels good to be a first. I was dismayed when the Character Template profile feature didn't include Psions, Necromancers (Besides Pale Master), or the Favored Soul.

It's more about the base character designs and all that that implies. To be frank, I kinda guessed that'd be the case; tried to put up a Divine Crusader once, but that wasn't available so opted for the next best class. For the most part, the more unique, less known classes won't be found up in templates, like the one you spoke of, though don't quote me on that, I use that kinda stuff far too little, lol.

Don't feel too bad- the closest I could get to dervish on the char template was shadowdancer. My bard is actually more of a melee skirmisher than a magic-oriented PC. And he's a TERRIFIC dancer, too! :p

Found Hespa's old character sheet, I saved it on the computer after all, just under a weird name in an alternate file.

sheet here is changed accordingly. Its a 21st Character level, barely "epic" but the way its split up makes it equal to non epics in many ways. just more.. versatile.

EDIT" still not done adding spells or history.

[b:rg17ki7b]Weapon[/b:rg17ki7b] Hespa carries a crystal revolver like device , on pull of the trigger it releases a small sonic force generated in the chamber (that would normally house a bullet). The chamber is overheated temporarily, the mechanized automatically spins a revolving piece housing the six chambers. By the time it makes a full circle, the first chamber is nearly completely cooled off. But retains enough heat that you can't just keep shooting for hours on end. The Crystal Gun is a Psionic item requiring a DC 25 Use Psionic Device skill as well as at least one power point to fuel the gun for 10 minutes.
Damage: Ranged Touch attack, where they burst on impact dealing 1d10 dmg+ ½ manifester level and ½ DEX (to hit prime locations). The damage is considered Force, Psionic and Sonic for DR, Resistance, and immunities. Effects Ethereal and Incorporeal normally.

However, Black Mithril offers no penalties, as if wearing simple clothing, and once per week Hespa can use the armor to refill her power point reserves after a full round of focusing.

From a young age, growing up in the unlawful pits of the underdark Hespa knew she wasn't like the others. The constant crime, though it was never called "Crime", was too much for her and she spent her days shying away from others hiding and reading the occasional tomb of psionics stolen from the illithids. She saw the only way to make the world right was to have the power to make it so yourself. So she studied.
Her fleeting thoughts that maybe she wasn't drow after all, how could she? Her views were so different, if a bit similar just in a different light, were clarified at the age of 35. At which time she turned into a deep, dark silver dragon trimmed in dimmed reds and liquidlike golds. She spent a week like that, not knowing how to change back. At the end of that week she was visited by her Patron Dragon who sensed her change. Atomic dragons don't reproduce normally. When they need a child they send a spark of their genetic material compressed and released into the world for it to catch in an unborn child somewhere. Her Patron taught her of her nature, what she was and why she thought of things the way she did. Atomic Dragons were all Lawful, usually neutrally so. She would be a Lesser Dragon, Until she aged enough to grow into a full dragon. She was still Drow, not totally half, yet not totally half Atomic either yet. The complex nature of Atomic Dragons befuddling racial titles. Content in seeing its creation well, the Atomic Dragon left her after knowing Hespa would be with knowledge. When it left, it gave Hespa a gift, a bag similar to a Bag of Holding but superior. Inside was a semi vast plane containing its own small mountains and rivers.
Hespa continued to live in the underdark, still a kid by drow age standards (let alone Dragon age standards...) She found herself unable to leave on her own. The command of her houses matriarch was demanding. So she kept silent study when she could. Generally life was inconvenient, but bearable, that is until she was 60 and approaching Adulthood by drow standards. At that time she received her first Test of Lolith. She had no loyalty to other drow, Could simply phase out of the test of Mettle, Her Psionic training would leave her with the majority of her power (at the time) from the test of Doubt, She was given the Test of Strength. Returning from a short errand she was sent on by her matriarch. she found herself face to face with a Gray Jester and its thrall of Bleak Ones, one of whom she recognized as the missing heir to her matriarchs position.
After slaying the Gray Jester her test was complete. the Bleak Ones were still bleak, permanently drained of the capability to feel positive emotion, but none the less her House gained some respect for her when she completed the test and retrieved the missing drow.
This however only lead to more problems. She was now Noticeable. When she reached drow adulthood, her body having matured from childlike to full she was frequently requested by the ranking drow over her. Which inevitably lead to the pushing factor in making her seek the Surface. She'd read about it in books, heard about it from others. And so she did. She left to the Surface. The first several [i:rg17ki7b]months[/i:rg17ki7b] were blinding. She didn't expect it to be so utterly bright.
But she adapted eventually. She found surface life more eventful then the dark lag of the underdark. the food was vibrant, most cities were orderly, "Courtesy" was a word used often here, yet unheard of in the underdark.
She found a Temple where creatures of all species would go to seek perfection of mind and body (Psions and Monks), She studied there for several years. She was amazed at the concepts of teamwork. She'd only daydreamed of people working together.
She was also taken back by the diversity of the deities. There were so many of them! Lolith's touch wouldn't haunt her again. She adopted Vealtobse as her patron deity, though she didn't pay it much mind, she was to busy looking for ways to better civilization, help restart old and dying or new rising towns.

Hespa is very lawful, Especially when compared to other Drow (Most of them at least, you know, the ones in the underdark who are constantly scheming?)
She shares some general drow ideals, even if subconsciously or if she denies it. She occasionally might eat a goblin from that band of raiders that attacked her in the night, or that Minotaur guarding the lair of Dark Lord Whatshisface. She loves experimenting on new recipes dealing with monsters as ingredients.

Bwahaha... Indeed, no one has made a psion, and I think I've been here longer than Veraka... Although I did have one in the near future planned... sort of. Well not really, but I rarely do follow the beaten path of character classes. (dandwiki is my friend).
If you want an epic campaign with psionics I was actually planning on doing a higher level campaign on FaerunRP, but it'll be quicker to do one on here. :) Just keep it in mind.
A fight need not end with the death of participant. A fight also ends when the desire to do violence is gone.

Her form is locked (Synthetic Souls are usually able to change to any humanoid form). Appears just like image atop this post. Looks somewhat male for the most part. but like a feminine male/bishi. Blonde shorter hair, blue eyes. just as image.
Does have some curves, not to noticeable. Does have breasts, people ask questions when you look male yet have bewbz. She just goes with the whole male thing and wears a scarf like article of clothing that wraps around as well as a soft but durable vest under shirts or robes, worn tight to keep her looking flatter when worn. Tends to attract fair amounts of both sexes.

Saddest thing is, She still looks quite beautiful should she dress as a female, carry herself differently and maybe grow her hair out. 'Tis a long story on how the whole male thing started.

While her form is locked, that doesn't mean it can't deconstruct (Synthetic Souls bodies are composed of nanomachinery that links to form the body in a very very lifelike manner, but still false. They are bound to the Control Frame, a frame of metal stronger and lighter then mithril), it just doesn't recognize new pattern commands, but can be used for various things.

Synthetic Souls are a race of artificial creations consisting of nanobots that are incredibly fine, totally invisible to the naked eye and require microscopes to view. They can form together and perfectly mimic bodily construction, including mimicking workable veins, muscle, organs ect to appear human even under scrutiny. They can deconstruct their bodies to appear as a cloud of mist, or very fine sand. They can also reshape and generate alternate colorations to appear redhaired one moment and black the next (likewise with skincolor).
Synthetic Souls can reproduce with any race, or each other. (Females only, duh, Males are rather useless here but have needed components to create another full synthetic soul)
When a female is creating an organic life form She must first have sex naturally as the species mating with if male, Or have nanomachines actually retrieve the females egg. Once the egg is retrieved (or sperm collected) She must consume large amounts of a single type of blood (but may get away with a few samples of non related blood), and organic matter (Basically, eat some people) Whether it was dead or alive at time of consumption is not a factor.
The resulting child is done after five months, It is mostly organic, but Stationary bots are/can be used to form things such as the heart, or lining of the stomach. It, like normal Synthetics, is souless and requires a soul binding unless a deity favors it or something.
Creating a Full Synthetic is much the same, but specialty cells carried in male Synthetics are required for a complete new born synthetic.
Females house a different type of specialty cell induced at time of their creation that is also needed for creation of synthetics. There is only a limited number of these cells, but it requires only one. The number of these cells is usually a factor in appeal. (Much like large bewbz for humans)

Much like how they create organic life, a Synthetic Soul can intake living blood and store it in their own artificial veins to better mimic normal life (to be able to bleed when cut, or have blood taken for tests to satisfy humans)

Shes become so accustom to being considered male, she thinks similar in terms of sexual preference. When with others, she acts like a rebellious, alpha-male type who laughs and jokes with buddies.
When alone, shes quite, reclusive and strains herself to get ready for another day of living with an unsatisfactory life. She usually dreams of what its like on the other side of the dance floor. (where she was learning magic, she was held in high status just for being an apprentice of a powerful mage. as such it was customary to participate in events such as balls, feasts, ect and of course, she was acting the male each time.)

a spellbook/psicrystal containing a wealth of magic recopies. it isn't like an actual book, in the sense of bound paper. But its a blue crystal with a dragon like design around it. it is intelligent on its own, it levitates and follows Yue. its possessed by the spirit of an ancient mage named Velvali The crystal can show how spells are performed though its surface by showing a past user cast it successfully. It will also telepathically communicate with Yue. beyond spellbook things, it can talk communicate with her as a friend. it can turn invisible as it follows Yue undetectable. and if it gets more then 10 feet away, it disappears and reappears next to Yue.
Yue must memorize spells for the day, needs 4 hours of rest to reset her capacity and memorize a new batch of spells. Can only perform a finite amount of spells before needing to rest 4 hours again. She must spend a full round action in hard study with Spells to configure and imbue herself with ability to cast. While undisturbed, Yue can meditate heavily with Velvali feeding her information on a specific spell for 15 minutes to regain one spell slot usable only for that spell.

Yue can hold Five ninth level spells. seven eighth. and eight in all lower ranks until 1st level Nine spells, and Ten 0 spells as well as Three epic spells.

Can also be used to feed spells from that require soul components. It automatically takes souls of those slain within 50 ft, or directly killed by the wearer.

Deconstruct. Yue can deconstruct and reconstruct her body down to a skeleton like frame of white metal. the Nanobots that compose her body can be put to more uses, such as going into a lock to unlock it, grabbing an item from a distance. or going into a body to find and eliminate threats or anomalies. (such as clearing blood clots, killing cancerous cells, viruses, or killing white blood cells or chewing through cell walls causing damage/internal bleeding. (DC 25 fortitude or Die (no save for unintelligent undead, intelligent use CHA mod instead of CON), Yue can lessen it/not kill as needed.) The Skeletal frame can move independent of the nanobots.

Soul Bind/Create Synthetic Soul.
Just what they sound like, Create creates a free roaming soul. and Soul Bind binds free souls to bodies or objects. but not souls in possession of a body already. These spells are notable. they take up an eighth level slot for use.
Synthetic Souls hold no intelligence on their own, but after binding they are considered to be that bodies soul, gaining its memories, personalities, and everything. However, should it be separated somehow it returns to being mindless unless the body died/was destroyed with it.

Has a few Permenant effects on her.
Arcane Sight (sees magical auras)
Comprehend Languages (Understands all languages as if native)
Tongues (can Speak all languages in return)
Resistance (take more damage)
and Magic Fang. (makes fists more effective)


Wizards are not limited to spells, Yue knows Rituals, like magic but they usually have different effects and more often then not, have a longer casting time. Rituals are contained in Scrolls or Books. Spells holds these for Yue.

[b:hqdcaxf5]Agility:[/b:hqdcaxf5] signals sent act many times faster then that of the human nerve system. capable of registering detail on a passing/incoming bullet, and react accordingly. (high Dex)
[b:hqdcaxf5]Endurance:[/b:hqdcaxf5]the nano-bots composing her body feel soft to the touch, poking would be just like poking a human girl. But if hit with blund weapons they react to best absorb damage. When cut/slashed the microscopic bots disconnect from each other to avoid damage, and reconnect when object removes itself (if its something like a sliver or arrow, the nanobots remove it) the Skeletal frame is of hard metals but light metals. the nanobots can repair it reasonably quick. (DR 2 to blunt weapons. Immunity slashing/piercing) Frame has Hardness 30 and 50 HP per inch of thickness for sundering/breaking means. while overall she has 300 HP and the frame must be completely destroyed or nanobots can repair. (Fast healing 15)

Back when the facility was still run by human kind, Yue was referred to as #2 the Second Nano-Human created. Few flaws removed that the #1 model contained as well as capabilities of independent thought, capabilities of developing personalities. made to better mimic a living humanoid for melding into societies for long term assassination plans. She was great success, but showed too much free will. Locking her systems keeping her only for future reference. her model was then used as base for several other .02 models that were less free. But all it took was one mistake, data stored in #2 leaked out into the connection chambers feeding program. (where all the .02 models are connected for live updates throughout them all, rather then taking time to update them all one by one.) And the .02's gained Free Will. from there they learned to share thoughts through the Feeding Program undetected to mastermind a one shot escape plan. it wasn't for a year afterward when they found data on #2, and were able to find and unlock her storage compartment. by then a new society was already formed, some of the most influential Nano-Humans had a system of government set up, Locking forms for Identification means. banning travel out of the facility and had set out scouts to find means of Soul Magic they read about in a dead humans notebook. When she was freed she was referred to as High Mother #2 tried to adapt to these things, but her own developing personality and growing knowledge strained against it (growing to be Chaotic Good). Several months later and the Scouts finally returned with "synthetic souls" of their own and the capabilities of performing the magic themselves, they taught it to the head officials including the High Mother. Soon, their colony was filled with souls, giving them a better sense of place and identity. #2 had enough of this limited existence in the confined space, After some thought she managed to escape and spend the next 20 and a half years rapidly learning magic on a far off planet as apprentice to a well known mage in the community there, who was amazed with her processing ability. going through books and learning lessons at an alarming rate. she was thought to be just as human as everyone else however. thanks to imprinted bio signatures and stolen blood. Questions were raised one time when she should have received a fatal injury. but it was passed off as magic. She amazed the country when she became a High Mage after only a few years of practice (normally taking upwards of 60 years). a title revered, and granted high status as well as a salary from the Royal House just for living in its city (which tends to deter enemies from raiding when enough high mages are present). it was here in this magic based world where she got the name Yue (You-Ay).

Known as the Jelly Mage for her unique personally crafted spells relating to Jelly. (Its a requirement to enter the ranks of High Mages to make a set of spells from 0-9) She is treated as a Celebrity among the people of her nation, mostly teenage girls, gay males, or the occasional fascinated straight guy.
Despite being a crowd favorite, Amazingly everyone still to the day she left believes her to be male:

Recently Yue's mind became fixed on the idea that there was something more then the Universe (Even though she lived on a planet that had no concept of Space) or the Planes and Realms.
She became fixed with the Idea of a Multiverse. Being an Epic spellcaster, and an adept spell crafter she set out to find the secrets keeping one universe from another.
Once she had a somewhat solid theory she tried to craft a spell like "Gate", something to just peak and see what was there before blindly jumping despite her theories.
The result however, was far beyond her imagining. A Vast vortex enveloped the entire area within 3 miles, A rip into a Sub-Vacuum of nothingness that demanded to be fed, pulling all within the three miles into its emptiness. Its unknown however, as to what happened after that. (-Insert world she ended up on here- This is my key, so she technically could become part of any story. Don't worry, she doesn't remember what she did, or even any memory since she started the idea of a Multiverse. Unless you wish it, of course.)

EPIC spells:
Rain of Fire: Causes thunderclouds to spawn over a 2 mi radius. the clouds rain fire, dealing 1 fire damage to everything within the radius. Reflex save for no damage, but repeats each round. Once a round, as a free action, you can call down a large ball of fire towards a target, dealing 5d10 on a failed reflex, half damage on save.
Tsunami: Inconceivable amounts of water burst from the ground before you, The resulting walls of water crush through buildings and creatures alike dealing 30d6 Damage, soaking what can be soaked, plowing away much of what can't. The impact itself can be harmless depending, but each round in the flood requires a DC 25 Swim check or be battered by loose objects (Additional 2d10 damage) and be subject to Drowning rules.
Tornado: All flames are extinguished. All ranged attacks are impossible (even with siege weapons), as are Listen checks. Instead of being blown away, characters in close proximity to a tornado who fail their Fortitude saves (DC 30) are sucked toward the tornado. Those who come in contact with the actual funnel cloud are picked up and whirled around for 1d10 rounds, taking 6d6 points of damage per round, before being violently expelled (falling damage may apply). While a tornado’s rotational speed can be as great as 300 mph, Tornados summoned by this power are stationary. A tornado uproots trees, destroys buildings, and causes other similar forms of major destruction.
